Get answers for important questions that we’re frequently asked at Knowledge Tree Children’s Academy



Our hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 am-6:00 pm. We are closed about 11-12 days per year, which coincides with federal holidays. Please see our Yearly Calendar for closed dates.


To enroll your child at KTCA, parents do need to complete our Enrollment Packet, sign our Parent Handbook, and fill out our Tuition Express Form. Our Enrollment Packet consists of required state license forms, an admission agreement, and a few other school policy acknowledgments. Parents need to have their child’s doctor to complete the Physicians Report Form.  Also, we do require copies of the child’s current Immunizations Record to be submitted. We will provide all the paperwork when family tours our center.



We provide transportation to Sunset Ranch, Valley View, Breen Elementary, Harvest Bridge Placer Academy, Antelope Creek, and Twelve Bridges. However, this can vary every year. Please call for the most updated information.


We have implemented Procare, a communication APP that keeps parents connected with children’s real-time activities through text and pictures. Our director or Assistant director is available daily for parents during pick up and drop off times. We also host Back To School Nights and Open House events each year so parents can spend time talking to their children’s teachers. We see communication as one of our core values. We are always available via e-mail or telephone call. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see some daily activity pictures.


All of our teachers are fully qualified teachers. Unlike other centers, we do not have any teacher aids, only fully qualified teachers. Some teachers have a Bachelor’s degree. All teachers are Infant, Child and Adult CPR and First Aid certified, cleared through the Department of Justice, FBI Database and the Child Abuse Index.


We have cameras installed in the entire campus. An assigned door access card must be used for current parents to come in. We practice emergency drills every month. All staff is required to have background clearance before starting employment. Only persons on the Authorized Pick Up List can pick up the child unless written consent is given. Our teachers conduct name to face headcounts multiple times per day and also during each time of transition.


We take pride in the cleanness of our environment. We have a professional cleaning crew comes for daily cleaning every night. During cold and flu seasons or when there is any sickness occurring, extra sanitizing takes place immediately. We work with Ecolab, one of the largest janitorial cleaning products suppliers. We only use food-safe grade chemicals around children.


Parents will be responsible for child’s lunch. KTCA provides a morning snack and an afternoon snack. We are a nut-free center to protect the children who have allergies.


The discount we offer is a sibling discount. We accept the programs “Child Care Aware”, “PCOE” and “Child Action” Please call for the most updated information.
